Heather Nauert
Heather Ann Nauert, born on January 27, 1970 is an American journalist for the broadcast media who was previously an official in the federal government. She served as the Spokesperson of the United States Department of State during the Donald Trump administration (2017 to 2019). She is a senior fellow at the Hudson Institute, a conservative think tank.
Prior to her roles in the Department of State, she was an ABC News correspondent and news presenter on the Fox News program Fox & Friends. Nauert also served as acting under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy, Public Affairs and Diplomacy in the Trump administration from March through October of 2018. Nauert was named by Trump to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board as well as the White House Commission on White House Fellowships in the year 2019.
